Me + English

I have mixed emotions about english. I hated in it grade 8 because it was boring and we basically read the Outsiders the whole semester. I don't like reading at all. Last year I didn't mind it as much because we mostly wrote essays and stuff and I don't mind writing that much. I can't stand poetry or Shakespeare though, which is probably why I don't like english that much. Even though I don't like it I tend to do fine with it and I got an A in grade 8 and last year so hopefully I can maintain that grade.

    Oh man... I love Outsiders. Hopefully you find a reason better than a grade to engage this year. Try to keep an open mind. This year will be different than 8/9 just because of the technology, plus I teach a little differently too. You don't need to like everything we do but there are so many cool things in English class to connect with.
